Hi... in this journal I try to explain how i make one of my favourite shot! I hope you could find this journal helpful!!
For this shot i used:
Camera: Nikon D50
Lens: Nikkor 18-55
Flash: 1xSB-600
1xSB-R200

The SB-600 was put in the rear part of the set, to create the shadows and to create the backlight on the primary subject.
A SB-R200 was put under the primary subject, a aluminium plate was positioned in front of the primary subject to reflect the light.
The camera was set in manual mode, f/16 and 1/250 sec. The flash power was adjusted on the basis of the hystogram of the camera.
And here the final results after few correction on PS.
